This was a very fun piece! My client brought me her original engagement ring and several other stones—two beautiful opals, a moonstone, and five additional round diamonds.

She wished to incorporate her engagement ring into the design. The shank from her engagement ring was fabricated into a bail with her diamond bezel set at the base.

She also designs jewelry herself and wished to incorporate swirls, as she often does in her own wire-wrapping designs.

Since her opals and moonstone were beautiful from both sides, the pendant was designed to be reversible, with a hammered finish on the pavilion side of each of the diamond bezels for a more aesthetically-pleasing reverse side.
